Indiana Chamber of Commerce endorses Ron Bacon for State Representative The Indiana Chamber of Commerce PAC, Indiana Business for Responsive Government (IBRG), has endorsed Ron Bacon Candidate for District 75 State Representative. IBRG’s mission is to aid and support candidates that will improve the business climate in Indiana. Michael R. Davis, Vice President of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce states that Ron Bacon holds “Pro-Job Growth and Pro-Economic Development views and agenda deserving of our endorsement”. Upon announcement of the endorsement Candidate Bacon commented “I am very appreciative to receive the Indiana Chamber of Commerce endorsement”. Bacon stated “Whirlpool Corp. idling their facility in District 75, is another example of the need to have local law makers working with employers in our district and our community crafting incentives for job creation and job retention”. Bacon continued “Affordable education opportunities for those displaced from such closing need to be available within our community college system at IVY Tech. An educated workforce in a business friendly environment is what it is going to take for Indiana to remain competitive in landing new job creation in the future.” Indiana Right to Life endorses Ron Bacon for State Representative Today I am honored to announce that the Indiana Right to Life has chosen to support my candidacy for State Representative. The Indiana Right to Life is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to restoring and protecting the Sanctity of Life. They seek to educate the public on the issues of abortion, infanticide,and euthanasia and to move our culture back to a respect for life. The Indiana Right to Life PAC chose to endorse my candidacy based on a variety of factors including the completed Indiana Right to Life survey showing my strong support of the Sanctity of Life. Mike Fichter, Chairman of the Indiana Right to Life PAC stated that he and his organization “will encourage all pro-life voters in your district to give you their full support.” Fichter added Thank you for your support for the sanctity of life, and best wishes on your important run for the state legislature. Bacon stated “Being raised a Catholic and graduating from Mater Dei High School, Sanctity of Life was a value that was instilled in me at an early age.” Bacon continued “Life of the unborn and those who can not speak for themselves is something we as human beings need to stand up to protect.” NRA endorses Ron Bacon for State Representative Tonight Ron Bacon stated “I am proud to announce that the National Rifle Association has chosen to support my candidacy for State Representative.” The NRA endorsed his candidacy, giving him a rating of “AQ” which signifies that he is a Pro-Second Amendment/ Pro-Hunting candidate that supports gun owners and sportsmen. “The NRA chose to endorse my candidacy based on the completed NRA-PVF questionnaire,” Bacon stated. When announcing the endorsement Bacon stated “This is another endorsement that I am proud to have. The National Rifle Association is a great organization that continually works to maintain one of the basic rights given to us as United States citizens. I would like to thank the NRA for their endorsement and hope I have the opportunity to work with them in the future on issues related specifically to gun owners and sportsmen.” Bacon stated, “As a child, hunting with family members were some very fond memories, memories I hope someday to help create for my own grandchildren.” NFIB endorses Ron Bacon The National Federation of Independent Business, Indiana’s leading small business association, announces its endorsement of Ron Bacon in his bid for election to the Indiana House. Bacon secured the group’s endorsement because of his extensive business experience and his dedication to small business issues critical to Indiana. Barbara Quandt, Director of the NFIB states “Ron knows what it takes to make a payroll.” Quandt continued “He’s a small business man with decades of experience, and he’s going to make an outstanding representative.”
Bacon stated upon receiving the endorsement, “We need to control spending in Indianapolis while working with business.” Bacon continued, “A priority of the next legislative session is going to be getting legislation through that gets people back to work. We need to work with small business owners, who are the backbone of this country, ensuring their doors are open and Hoosiers employed.”
